Beyond the philanthropic efforts of his family, Mr. Kollitides also believes that businesses need to equally balance operational and financial excellence with being good corporate and community citizens. To this end, Mr. Kollitides leverages his position as an active and high-profile investor, corporate and board room executive to both drive and support the corporate social responsibility (“CSR”) initiatives — including philanthropy — of the businesses he is involved with. This includes serving on the CSR committees of various investments, and matching corporate donation efforts with contributions from his family’s charitable efforts.
